Great "Fun" Spot in Downtown Waukesha
Authentic 50’s Style Soda Sloppy Joe's is owned and operated by Shelly Rose, the daughter of, owner Divino Gelato Cafe a landmark destination for Waukesha and greater Milwaukee counties.
Due to Divino Gelato's success over the last 9 + years, Lori developed the idea beginning on May 28, 2009 that Waukesha needed a location that would be "fun", and offer homemade "daily fresh" traditional super premium ice cream. Lori took this idea and developed 18 fascinating and delicious flavors. In the period from May 28th. and the opening on July 22nd. Lori and husband Joe leased one of the prime locations in downtown Waukesha, began to refurbish and redesign it into a 50's themed Soda Fountain with Jukebox and a constant flow of 50's and sometimes 60's music for it's patrons.
